Dead End Jobs…Anyone, Anyone?
So here you are… stuck in a dead end job. Have you hit the glass ceiling in a line of work you once loved, but now hate? Perhaps the days are long. Perhaps you hate retail customers. Perhaps you’re like the great majority of college students who didn’t get a degree and you believe this is the best possible job for you without one.
Don’t despair however. There are quite a lot of great careers available, especially for people who have some work experience background. Yet how will you get trained and how will you go to school when you’re still working…since you could likely have got bills to pay, quite possibly children, a automobile repayments and a mortgage? A career college can guide you and get you the appropriate certification to get into a better career path and a happier future.
Career colleges offer specific courses, proper accreditation and adaptable schedules to get you into a better career in business, medical, computer or paralegal fields. Usually there’s limited (or no) waiting periods to enrol in the courses you want. Most courses take 2 years or less and some as little as twenty six weeks! Since you have had some work exposure, hopefully with greater responsibilities, will give you an advantage once you’ve completed your schooling.
Here are 3 occupational fields that are packed full with opportunities now and will continue to be over the course the 10 years.
- Healthcare: The healthcare field is one of the fastest growing career paths around. Increasingly more people are retiring out of it, the US population has grown and we are living longer. These conditions have created a great demand for all classes of medical jobs. In demand jobs are: Medical Coding, Nursing, and Dental Hygiene.
- Mechanical Trades: If you don’t like sitting behind a desk every day, there are plenty of careers that allow you to be “constructive” and offer good pay. In demand jobs are: Electrician, Appliance Repair Technician and HVAC Technician.
- Computer: Computer based careers are continuing to increase. Computers have taken over the world, but they still need programmers and operators to make them work. In demand jobs are:Graphic Design, Help Desk Analyst and Software Development.
Don’t settle for that dead end livelihood. You have too many years left in the workforce to be miserable for eight hours a day. With easygoing schedules, short completion times, and a choice of financial aid options, a career college can take you towards a good job and a better life.
